Marsden Metals Group carried out the demolition of steel shed and galvanized steel racking within at OceaNZ Blue Ruakaka March 2016. (440 square meters in total)
I found Gordon and his team to be very professional and experienced with two on site safety watchers while demolition was in progress. Demolition materials were removed from site quickly and efficiently with a clean site handed back to OceaNZ Blue on the agreed date.
Overall we were very happy with demolition and will be engaging this team again in the coming months for the second part of our shed reconstruction.

Earlier this year Marsden Metals Group Ltd formerly (G Abernethy) were commissioned to rationalise buildings at both Okaihau College and Motatau School. On both occasions, from start to finish, we had no issues with their work on site, communications or health and safety. When we have this team on board we rest assured that the projects will be done right, within the contract sum and compliantly. Their levels of communication are excellent which is essential when we commission work from Auckland to the Far North.

Matt and I started using Marsden Metals (previously Abernathy Recycling) when we first moved into the area. We were pleasantly surprised to find a skip bin service at our back door, and have never been let down. Waiting for a Whangarei skip bin hire was not a cost effective option and we wanted to support local businesses.
We have used the skip bin service many many times in the last year and a half with consistent good service. The delivery and pick ups are efficient and only a phone call away. The guys that deliver the bins are always cheerful and considerate.
We recommend the services of Marsden Metals to anyone who has moved into the community that is undergoing renovations. We are very appreciative of the service Marsden Metals has given us, and value the very reasonable rates for our area. We believe it's more effective for us to use there service instead of doing numerous tip runs or getting an outer area service. They will always be our first point of call for skip bins or extra large rubbish bags.

The Saorsa Retirement Village in Waipu needed to have a large, 4 bay, very old bus garage and 27 smaller garages demolished and removed.
All were found to have asbestos in their construction and all were within close proximity to the residents of the retirement village.We called for quotes and Marsden Metals were the most competitive and the most responsive.
They started and completed the whole job in one week, and the operation was seamless. Their work safety processes were excellent, including monitoring of air quality through the asbestos removal stage, and the erection of a safety fence around the whole site.
The site was left in a very clean and tidy state.
The Saorsa Trust received no complaints from residents at any stage, and everyone is delighted with the end result.
