At Marsden Metals Group, we believe in the power of community. Supporting local organizations that keep our communities safe is a core part of our values. Recently, we were proud to contribute to the Waipu and Ruakaka Volunteer Fire Brigades as they undertook a multi-agency exercise designed to enhance their skills and teamwork in responding to major emergencies.
Strengthening Emergency Response
The exercise brought together members of the Waipu and Ruakaka Volunteer Fire Brigades, along with other key emergency response teams, to simulate real-life crisis scenarios. This training focused on improving coordination, communication, and execution of strategies in high-pressure situations. From vehicle extractions to fire containment and multi-agency collaboration, the exercise emphasized the critical skills needed to protect our community during large-scale emergencies.
By participating in these drills, our local volunteer firefighters gain valuable experience that could one day save lives. Their dedication and hard work are vital to ensuring Northland’s safety, and Marsden Metals Group is honored to support these heroes.
A Community Partnership
As a family-owned, locally-operated business with yards in Ruakaka, Dargaville, and Waipapa, we understand the importance of community resilience. Our team at Marsden Metals Group actively seeks opportunities to give back to the regions we serve, whether through environmental initiatives like metal recycling or by supporting local heroes like our volunteer fire brigades.
Our Commitment to Northland’s Future
Supporting the Waipu and Ruakaka Volunteer Fire Brigades is just one example of our commitment to Northland’s well-being. By recycling scrap metal and turning it into valuable resources, we’re helping to build a sustainable future for our region. And by supporting those who dedicate their time to protecting our community, we’re ensuring a safer, stronger Northland for generations to come.
Thank You to Our Volunteer Firefighters
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the brave men and women of the Waipu and Ruakaka Volunteer Fire Brigades, as well as their partners in this multi-agency exercise. Your hard work and commitment inspire us all.
At Marsden Metals Group, we’re proud to stand behind the heroes who keep Northland safe. Together, we’re building a community that’s not only resilient but also deeply connected. Thank you for letting us be a part of this important initiative.
